Autumn chocolates, Hotel Chocolat

Hotel chocolate Autumn chocolates

I absolutely adore Autumn with the gorgeous colours, cosy jumpers, candles, hot chocolates… What’s not to love? The scenery is so pretty, the air is often crisp, there’s the excuse to buy a hot drink from a coffee shop every day and it’s time to start pulling out your warmer, cosier clothes. Just thinking about it makes me all gooey… Not to mention Halloween, Bonfire night and the eventual build up to Christmas. I could happily live in a little cycle of October, November, December all year round.

When I received the beautiful Autumn Sleekster box from Hotel Chocolat, all I could think was how well they cleverly managed to capture my favourite season in a box of chocolates. These Autumn chocolates really are incredible. With a variet of flavours such as Apple Crumble, Banana Bread, Salted Caramel Pecan Pie, The Brownie, Walnut Praline and Hazelnut Praline you can automatically see a theme emerging. The flavours encapsulate all the warm, nutty, fruity flavours of the season and I love the selection of dessert chocolates too. The Banana Bread and Apple Crumble are two of my favourites.

The designs of the Autumn chocolates are stunning too. As with all of Hotel Chocolat chocolates a lot of thought has gone into how they look, not just how they taste, and they look so good displayed all together. The acorn and leaf designs on the Simply Milk and Hazelnut Praline are the perfect finishing touch, bringing so much seasonal Autumn imagery to the chocolates.

If you’re looking for an Autumnal Treat then these are a great choice. They are the perfect accompaniment to a hot chocolate or coffee. The entire Autumn range from Hotel Chocolat is unsurprisingly gorgeous. The Autumn Crumbles collection is another of my favourites with a selection of fruit crumble dessert style chocolates. I also love the colourful and fun Choose Your Poison box full of ‘wicked little cocktails‘ including Black Cat Martini and Zombie – perfect for Halloween!
