Easter: Hotel Chocolat Scrambled Eggs

White, dark, milk, caramel scrambled eggs from hotel chocolat, flat lay

I am a huge fan of family traditions which is why I think I am looking forward to Easter so much this year. I can’t wait to go home and visit my family and spend some quality time with them, doing what we always do at Easter. We have a little routine of traditions that take place each year and you can read more about that here. I am also a huge fan of chocolate so obviously there are lots of perks for chocoholics during this time of the year. There really is something about Easter Eggs that makes chocolate taste EVEN better than normal.

If your friends and family love chocolate then I think that giving Easter Eggs is a lovely idea and a great way to show them you are thinking about them. The novelty of egg-shaped chocolate makes receiving an Easter Egg just that little bit more special than chocolate any other time of the year. Sometimes just a simple dairy milk, crème egg or malteasers egg will hit the spot. Sometimes though, something a little more upmarket will go down an absolute treat. The Hotel Chocolat Scrambled Eggs tick this box perfectly.

I have been a huge fan of this brand ever since I discovered them. I love the delicious sounding and beautiful looking delights that you can buy from them. Not to mention the unexpected chocolate infused goodies including tea bags, pesto and beer! The gift potential is amazing. I also absolutely adore the café and restaurant, Roast and Conch that can be found in Leeds.

The Hotel Chocolat Scrambled Eggs are available in white, milk, dark and caramel chocolate and the hollow eggs are designed in an elegant and artistic way with gorgeous swirls draped around the shell. Accompanied with six scrambled pralines, they are the perfect Easter Gift that looks fit for a queen! The six little chocolates are made up of their ‘super smooth signature praline recipe’ which will literally melt on your tongue and they compliment the egg brilliantly. I think the Hotel Chocolate Scrambled Eggs are just stunning and such a gorgeous treat to wake up to on Easter Sunday morning.

Unfortunately I haven’t tried the chocolate yet – I have an aversion to eating Easter Eggs before Easter Sunday. I didn’t actually realise people even did this until I saw someone snacking on one! Each to their own and I can totally see why people would eat them before because the chocolate is so delicious but I personally like to save this for Easter Sunday and make the day a little more special. So although I haven’t tasted the Hotel Chocolate Scrambled Eggs, I can confidently say that they are sure to be suitably tasty and sinful – as the rest of their chocolate 100% always has been in my experience. So if you are looking for a last minute Easter gift then the Hotel Chocolat Scrambled Eggs are a brilliant, luxury choice; plus they are only £15 each and you can find out more information here.

Happy Easter!

I’m obsessed with Hotel Chocolat, we’ve been known to stroll round the store just in the hope of getting a few tasters to try. Amazingly I’ve never had an Easter egg from there, although my dream is to one day get one of the HUGE expensive ones (dream on!)

So hungry now! Am having a super healthy week and I’m starving!
