Hull Bloggers Meet!

Hi lovelies!

I had a very exciting day last Sunday as I was lucky enough to attend the Hull Bloggers Meet hosted by Alex (Champagne & Lemonade),  Jaye (Jaye’s journal) and Jenny (Curious Alice Loves). I know I’m not from Hull but it was only a short train journey away from Leeds and I am so glad that I went. I met so many new bloggers and found out about some great new products that I can’t wait to share with you!

The meet was hosted at Fudge food, a gorgeous little cafe situated on Princes Avenue. It was the perfect venue for the afternoon, complete with the cutest interior and the most delicious food! When we arrived, we were shown to our tables and instantly bonded over beauty and fashion talk! I was sat with the lovely Joanne, (Simply Redhead), Susan (Does She Now), Courtney (Retro and Thrift), Charley (Ramblings of a beauty blogger) and Hannah (ha-pea-days) – make sure you go and check out their blogs!

The room was decorated beautifully!

To start off the day we were introduced to the lovely girls from Arbonne, a beauty/hair product and skincare brand. I really loved that the company are very strict about only using natural ingredients and they are vegan approved. As you probably know I love the Body Shop for similar reasons so I was really interested in the products.

After lots of product testing it was time for afternoon tea! We were presented with the most beautiful array of home made cakes, sandwiches and scones.

As our food settled we continued to chat and get to know one another.

It was then time to buy raffle tickets. Naturally, I just had to check out what prizes were on offer! There were so many goodies to be won, I couldn’t wait! All the proceeds were donated towards the Look Good Feel better charity so I felt like I was doing a very good deed by buying myself some raffle tickets 🙂

We were then introduced to the lovely Natalie from Be Younique. We got to test out their fabulous 3D Fiber Lash Mascara! It adds fibres to your lashes cresting volume and length; it is a great way to get a false lash effect!

It was then time for the raffle! I was very lucky to win some OPI nail varnishes, a hamper full of organic food from Gousto and the most beautiful red Chanel lipstick! Can you believe this is the first time I have ever won anything in a raffle! Everyone was very happy with their prizes 🙂
